Beverley Benson joined Melton T.O.W.N. Club on 8th May 2001. Beverley graduate on 15th January 2002 and has maintained her graduate status since that date. Bev has been Club Graduate numerous times. Bev, as we call her, has held several positions throughout the time she has been with out Club, namely Weigher, Secretary, Assistant Leader and Leader. Currently Bev is our Assistant Leader and has told us she will nominate for Leader at the forthcoming AGM. Bev is very helpful in setting up for our meetings and is always very happy to help in any capacity. Bev often conducts Group Therapy and is the person we call on for any photocopying required. Apart from her “Club Life” Bev is a very inspiring person. At 69 years of age, nearly 70, Bev is still working full time as a co-ordinator in a busy childcare centre. Bev also attends her local gym on a regular basis, but has gained fame for falling off the treadmill, only to jump back on. The members and committee of the Melton T.O.W.N. Club feel that the Hall of Fame award is something that we genuinely believe Beverley Benson very worthy of.
